Bubble solution on camping fields

27 May 2026

With immediate effect, the use of bubble solution (soap bubbles) is no longer permitted on and around our camping fields. We highly value a carefree holiday and the preservation of our guests' camping equipment. Due to the material damage that bubble solution causes, we have decided to tighten the rules regarding this matter.

Although blowing bubbles is great fun for children, it unfortunately causes a major problem. What many people do not know is that the soap in bubble solution permanently damages the waterproof coating of tent fabrics, trailer tents, and awnings. As soon as a bubble pops on a tent, the protective layer dissolves instantly. During the next rain shower, this inevitably leads to leaks and permanent damage.

Because the wind easily carries bubbles to the neighbors' tents, we now enforce a bubble solution ban across all camping fields.
