Electricity at our camping pitches
Electricity is available at all our camping pitches. Your stay includes 5 kWh per night standard. For most campers, this is more than enough for daily use. Need more power? You can easily increase the current.
Standard and extensions
Our pitches standardly offer: 8 Amps, approximately 1840 watts.
For an extra charge, you can choose:
12 Amps, approximately 2760 watts
- € 5 per night, maximum € 50 per stay
X Long arrangements excluded
16 Amps, approximately 3700 watts
- € 10 per night, maximum € 100 per stay
X Long arrangements excluded
This way, you can tailor the power consumption to your situation.
How does the consumption work?
If you consume more than 5 kWh per night, the extra consumption will be settled after your stay. After departure, you will receive an email with an overview of your consumption.
The cost for extra consumption is € 0.55 per kWh.
If you consume less than 5 kWh per night, no refund will be given.
Long arrangements
For longer arrangements such as preseason, spring specials, small preseason, June and September, 100 kWh is included. If you consume more than this amount, the extra costs will be charged after the arrangement.
If you are not present every day, you can switch off the power yourself via the switch on the pole.
If you want to use 12 or 16 Amps during a longer arrangement, you can choose a package rate to increase the current strength. More information about this is available at the reception.
How many watts do my devices consume?
To determine which devices you can use simultaneously, simply add up the wattages together. The wattage is usually indicated on the device itself.
As a guideline:
- Heater 750 to 1500 watts
- Small coffee maker 600 to 800 watts
- Oven 600 to 800 watts
- Mini fridge 70 to 80 watts
- Lamps 30 to 40 watts
- Small television 30 to 40 watts
Note: these are examples of special camping devices. Household appliances from home often consume more power.
Practical tips
Take into account peak power
When you turn on a device, it temporarily uses more power than its normal wattage. Sometimes two to three times as much. Therefore, turn on larger power consumers first and switch devices on one at a time.
Warm devices consume more
Devices that produce heat, such as a heater, oven, or coffee maker, use relatively more electricity. Coordinate their usage well.
Refrigerator
An absorption refrigerator in a caravan can consume on average 3 kWh per night. If you are absent for an extended period during a stay, it is advisable to switch it off.
Watch your power consumption
If you exceed your power limit, the electricity will automatically switch off and on again. This is a warning that the consumption is too high. If this happens too often, the power will be permanently turned off.
Reactivation is only possible during reception opening hours.
Tip from us
- Regularly check your devices and switch off unnecessary power consumers.
- Increase your current rating in time if you notice you need more power.
- Keep in mind that no changes can be made outside reception opening hours.
